There are three common mistakes with new equipment purchase:
1) Imagining that you can just plug-&-play like a new IT gizmo. Most equipment needs significant setting up in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
2) Neglecting Training. We’re happy to provide thorough and documented training for your catering and maintenance teams to enable them to get the best from their equipment, maximise efficiency and minimise breakdowns. Our own in-house Training Academy is led by our Technical Team Leads who are used to delivering to groups as well as individuals.
3) Forgetting about Servicing. When you buy your car and you get a 3 year warranty, it's on the basis that you have it serviced at the appropriate intervals. No service, no warranty. Kitchen equipment is no different. Service may or may not be included by the vendor – make sure you know. If not, we are happy to include it in our asset schedule. We can also pick up the maintenance later on if a vendor-provided service runs out after a certain time.
